Skate around the grand neoclassical courtyard on this huge 900-square-metre outdoor rink, with a magnificent 40ft Christmas tree right in the middle. Providing the perfect picture moments. What’s more, Chalet Suisse by Jimmy Garcia are also returning for delicious post ice skating dining. There are also skating lessons with Skate School and ultimate nightlife sets from trailblazing DJs on rink-side decks at Skate Lates with UNIQLO.

This is probably the coolest ice ring by far! Located at the site of one of London’s most iconic buildings. There is a spectacular 30ft Christmas tree in the centre, the perfect location for that epic festive selfie. After your skate, enjoy live entertainment, hop on a vintage funfair ride, or chill out with a mulled wine in a cosy Igloos or their swanky bar – The Glass House, and plus you can sample local food vendors.

This magnificent ice ring is set in the UNESCO World Heritage spot, in the grounds of The Royal Museums Greenwich. There is no minimum age for skaters, under-12s must be accompanied by someone 16 or over and the smallest skates for hire are children’s size 9 (adult skates go up to size 13). You can use your own skates as long as they’re not speed skates. Wheelchair users are welcome on the ice. There are also ice guides who can look after groups of up to 15 skaters at a time (for an additional charge). There will be the usual highlights at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland : Santa’s grotto, fairground rides, a Christmas market, themed bars with real fires and the Bar Ice – where even your drinking glass is made of ice.

West Hampstead’s Jewish arts, culture and community centre has a 200m2 outdoor ice ring, that comes complete with glimmering lights, vibrant music and an electric atmosphere. Whether you want to practise your double lutz or just your double klutz, skate, enjoy North West London’s favourite pop-up ice rink at JW3. You can pre book helpful penguin stabilisers or banana toboggans for less confident little ones to have fun on. . It’s also the only London ice rink open on Christmas Day.

The Winter Festival at Brent Cross is a treat for all the family. Featuring a giant observation wheel, a host of exciting rides and attractions, amazing food outlets and one of London’s largest ice rings. The best bit is, the ice ring is indoors,so there is no chance you will slide or be blown away in bad weather.

This Ice ring, bowling alley and arcade has been around for 90 years, but recently had a mega makeover. MEATliquor & QUEENS proudly present The SIN BIN, the UK’s first rink-side skate up bar. MEAT & Liquor served daily. Available for private hire & a little karaoke too! With lights and music, there is a real party feel. On Wednesdays and Saturdays they also have curling.
